TAAM ElectraNet Recipient


In accordance with the ElectraNet Transmission Asset Access Manual (TAAM), training is required to access and undertake operations on ElectraNet assets. The ElectraNet Recipient course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to understand and comply safely with the TAAM Authorisation Level - Recipient
Attendees must lodge an application via the ElectraNet portal on https://www.electranet.com.au/contractors, prior to attending TAAM training

UETTDRRFO9B Apply access procedures to work on or near electrical network infrastructure

Unit Prerequisites

HLTAID003 Provide first aid
HLTAID001 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation 

Training Location

At a centrally based Adelaide location or on client sites based on training needs.

Course aim

The aim of the course is to provide the participant with the knowledge and skills to receive and hold an HV Access or HV Test Permit.

Learning activities

Delivery involves classroom Instructor led presentation and group discussion.

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Course, a participant will have developed an understanding of the following: • Legislation, Regulations, Codes of Practices • Golden Rules • HV Access Permits • HV Access Permit Process • Roles and Responsibilities • Briefing of the Recipient in charge and Permit Issue • Work Area – Personnel Briefing and signing on • Work Area – Personnel signing off • Changed conditions

Attendee Prerequisites

Attendees must:
be an employee of ElectraNet or of an ElectraNet Endorsed Company
hold AL: Substation and/or AL: Lines ElectraNet asset access
have applied and been approved to attend training via ElectraNet portal
be literate in spoken English and competent in reading, writing and numeracy

Assessment approach

A written theory assessment is a requirement of the course. The assessment will contain a combination of critical questions which must gain a 100% pass mark and non-critical questions requiring a minimum of 80%.
