Thomson Bridge powered by RelyOn Nutec is actively seeking a proficient and seasoned High Voltage Trainer and Assessor to join our dynamic team located in Melbourne. We are looking for a candidate with extensive expertise and experience in high voltage systems to play a crucial role in our organisation.  

Locations

• Queensland
• New South Wales
• Victoria

The Position

This position will focus on the delivery of:

• High Voltage Operator Training and Assessment; and
• Other Industry related compliance and regulatory training as applicable

The Person

The ideal applicant will have experience in the operation of high voltage network and/or power generation plant and have a passion for passing on the benefits of your knowledge and experience to new and experienced workers. In addition to training, you may assist in the delivery of our range of advisory services to our wide range of HV customers.

You must have:

• A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is preferred but, (Assistance in gaining this certification will be extended to qualified individuals). 
• Trade or engineering qualifications relevant to high voltage plant and power station plant.
• Previous switching authorisations held on Traction, DNSP/TNSP networks would be advantageous.
• Hands on experience with the operation of high voltage plant.
• Excellent verbal and organisational skills. 
• Proficiency in both independent work and teamwork.
• Excellent document writing skills.
  
   Focus on safety.
   Ability to travel.
