Jens brings extensive knowledge and a strong background in energy infrastructure, particularly in the areas of offshore wind farms, power distribution, power transmission, gas distribution, and oil & gas process facilities. With a career spanning several decades, Jens has held key leadership positions in prominent Danish power company, Ørsted, where he played significant roles in the growth and development of its offshore wind capability. 

Danish renewable energy company, Ørsted, has been a pioneer in the development of offshore wind energy, and it has been at the forefront of advancing the industry worldwide. The company has a strong commitment to transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy. 

From 2014 to 2018, Jens served as a member of the Executive Committee in Ørsted Wind Power, where he was responsible for global operations. He played a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence in the rapidly expanding offshore wind sector. 

Prior to that, Jens was a member of the Executive Committee in Ørsted Sales & Distribution. In this capacity, he was responsible for planning, operations, and maintenance of energy distribution assets in eastern Denmark.  

Jens’ background and expertise in the offshore wind industry further enhances our Team’s growing depth of experience in offshore and onshore wind, which is essential as we develop electrical training solutions for our wind energy clients across Europe, UK and Australia.
